The Aquatic School Patch
One of the oldest and most recognized traditions in the Longhorn Council is the Aquatic School patch. This patch signifies that the Scout wearing it has graduated from Aquatic School. Scouts do not simply receive the Aquatic School patch by showing up.
A Scout who wears the Aquatic School patch tells the world that he/she has met the challenges and has satisfied the standards of Aquatic School. In meeting these standards, he/she will have exhibited diligence, fortitude, and enthusiasm. To be an Aquatic School graduate is a tremendous accomplishment -- one that less than 3500 Scouts have achieved over the last 70 years.
