Scouts who attend Aquatic School are divided into two groups, or "ships". These Ships are then divided into two patrols, or "watches", port and starboard. Scouts choose their ship name, design a ship flag and elect a Ship Captain and two Watch Leaders. Throughout the week, the ships and watched compete against each other in a variety of activities. This ship v. ship and watch v. watch competition helps generate the Esprit De Corps that all Aquatic School graduates share. Every Scout who has graduated from Aquatic School proudly remembers what ship and watch they were a member of.
Below are the ship pictures for 88 of the 110 different Aquatic School ships. We are always looking for more, so please contact us if you have a ship picture that we're missing.
